Merger to Create a Leading Provider of Managed Services Software
Transaction Expected to Close in the Second Half of 2022
Kaseya, a leading provider of unified IT and security management software, and Datto, a provider of security and cloud-based software solutions for managed service providers (MSPs), today announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which Kaseya will acquire Datto for $6.2 billion in an all-cash transaction funded by a consortium led by Insight Partners. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2022, subject to customary closing conditions, including regulatory approvals.
The combined company will offer a comprehensive suite of IT management and security solutions to MSPs and mid-market enterprises.
