Brentford's Ivan Toney On Course To Smash Club Record

Unknown in the UK when he first joined Brentford, Ivan Toney is now on course to smash the club's goalscoring record.

The striker has netted 49 goals in 90 appearances for the Bees since joining from Peterborough in 2020.

That tally includes 12 goals in the Premier League this season, which has helped Brentford to a comfortable mid-table position.

Toney's form has also seen him called up to the England squad, and he made his debut in a friendly against Switzerland in March.

If Toney continues to score at his current rate, he will break Brentford's all-time goalscoring record of 111, set by Jimmy Bain in the 1930s.
